4. Look out for a confirmation email 

Once we receive payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your receipt, payment plan information, and the option to purchase travel insurance for this trip. 

We understand that plans may change. However, because our trips are planned with care and often involve non-recoverable expenses, we have established the following cancellation policy:

- Cancellations made 45 days or more before the trip start date are eligible for a 50% refund of the total trip cost, minus the non-refundable deposit.

- Cancellations made between 15 and 44 days before the trip departure date are eligible for a 25% refund of the total trip cost, minus the non-refundable deposit.

- Cancellations made fewer than 15 days before the trip departure date are non-refundable.

Escape Accra for a full-day eco-adventure into the Volta Region, where wildlife, fresh air, and mountain panoramas await. Your journey begins at the Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, a protected forest reserve where playful mona monkeys roam freely.

Guided along shady trails, you’ll observe these curious creatures in their natural habitat—often coming up close for bananas and photos. After a relaxing lunch break featuring regional Ghanaian cuisine, continue to Mount Gemi near Amedzofe.

A short, invigorating hike takes you to one of Ghana’s highest peaks, offering sweeping views of rolling hills and valleys—perfect for nature lovers and photographers. With private transport, a dedicated host, guided experiences, admission fees, and lunch all included, this excursion delivers an enriching mix of wildlife, culture, and outdoor exploration before returning to Accra in the late afternoon.

Clothing Suggestions: 

Lightweight, breathable fabrics, comfortable shoes, and sunscreen. A sunhat and sunglasses are also helpful.

Activity Level: Moderate 

Expect a moderate amount of walking. There will be time to rest in the vehicle between attractions. To enjoy this tour, you should be prepared to walk slightly longer distances, climb some stairs, and tolerate periods of standing.
