We had an amazing trip to Ghana and Senegal, all planned by the Adinkra Group. Our itinerary was packed with tours and activities that helped us understand the history, culture and the people. The Adinkra Group provided a dedicated host and driver during our 11 day vacation. Our itinerary consisted of museums, a visit to Makola Market for shopping, a cooking class, a visit to a Kente weaving village, a visit to an Adkinkra stamping village, a tour of Cape Coast, a boat ride on the Volta, and a traditional renaming ceremony. The itinerary also included time for rest and relaxation. Our host, Joyce, was everything we expected and more. Her level of professionalism and the extra things she did to make our trip so enjoyable will always remain in our hearts. She took photos and videos of everything we did in Ghana. Had a wonderful time on my 10-day trip to Ghana. It was my first time on the continent. My host, Ricky, was wonderful, as was my driver, David. Both were very informative and willing to assist and be patient with a first-time visitor to their country. My accommodations at Château NaNa Willine were great. It's a small boutique hotel. The included breakfast choices were great; no complaints there. Especially loved the pancakes. Maisha did a wonderful job planning and putting together an itinerary partially based on my interests. My flight to and from Kumasi went flawlessly. Navigating the domestic terminal, which was partially under renovation when I was there, was a slight bit of a challenge, but that's one reason it pays to arrive well in advance of either your international or domestic flights. It was great spending some time with Diallo at their community residence as well as outside of it. It was a whirlwind 10 days, but Ricky and David were very accommodating, especially if I wanted to rest in for an extra hour or so before beginning my day's itinerary. I would highly recommend utilizing The Adinkra Group for any planned trips to Africa, not just Ghana. I hear they've accommodated groups as large as 500. I felt as though I was treated as well as a group that size even though it was just me travelling.

It has been 27 years since my first trip to Ghana. The first trip was only 6 days and we were able to pack a lot into that trip. However, this 17 day trip planned by Adinkra Group was excellent. I had the opportunity to revisit places I had visited before, but also visited many places I had not visited. The places we visited, the activities we participated in, the expats we were able to meet with and talk to about their journey, the hotel accommodations and the vehicle were all superb. The Adinkra staff and our driver [Kofi, Yemi & David] were amazing. They were all very professional, patient and very willing to assist the group with any need that might come up. I have no criticism of how this trip was planned, the places that we visited or the accommodations. As a yearly traveler to Africa, I have to say that everything was well done. We had a great time, thanks to the Adinkra Group's expert itinerary planning. Kofi Kofi, Josephine, and David, our driver, were fantastic: attentive, professional, and responsive to all our group's requests! The accommodations were good; the restaurants we chose served good food, and the museums and art galleries made the entire experience informative, educational, and, most of all, fun.
