Many of you know I've been traveling to Ghana for my business and general cultural connection for over a decade. I've heard you and we are now opening the experience for others who want to travel and savor all that Ghana has to offer!
Expect a delicate and curated mix of culture, tradition, modernity, fellowship, delicious food, welcoming environment, incredible experiences, beautiful people, music, dance and fun.

1. Select your package, complete the questionnaire, and pay your non-refundable deposit
To lock in your spot, you will be required to submit a deposit. Deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit amount will be applied toward the total cost of your trip. All deposits and packages are non-transferable.
2. Create an account to manage your package and add-ons
When checking out, you should check the box next to "Create an account to manage your booking online." This will allow you to edit, adjust your trip, and select add-ons at a later date.
3. Take note of the processing fees
When proceeding to payment, please expect to see a service fee if you pay by ACH or a 2.9% service fee if you pay by credit or debit card.
4. Manage payment over time
You can choose to set up automatic payments or go in monthly and make payments manually.
5. Look out for a confirmation email
Once we receive payment you will receive a confirmation email with your receipt, payment plan information, and the option to purchase travel insurance for this trip.
Registrants should begin purchasing their flights immediately or as soon as available.
Please note that flights with layovers through Europe or the Middle East could be delayed and may not offer additional/replacement flights until the next day if a flight is missed. This is the exception and not the rule.
We highly suggest direct flights from the US. Delta, which departs from JFK, or United, which departs from IAD and ATL - direct flights are available, however please choose whichever airline works best for you.
Ensure Your Passport is Valid for Travel
To travel, your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your return date and have at least two blank visa pages.
- For this trip, your passport should expire after December 16, 2026.
- If your passport expires before that date, you will need to renew it before traveling.
A visa is REQUIRED to enter Ghana.

We understand that plans may change. However, because our trips are planned with care and often involve non-recoverable expenses, we have established the following cancellation policy:
All bookings include a non-refundable deposit. This deposit secures your spot and is not refundable under any circumstances.
Cancellations made 45 days or more before the trip start date are eligible for a 50% refund of the total trip cost, minus the non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations made between 15 and 44 days before the trip departure date are eligible for a 25% refund of the total trip cost, minus the non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations made fewer than 15 days before the trip departure date are non-refundable.

From the moment you arrive at Kotoka International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and ushered into the rhythm of Accra!
After a brief stop to exchange currency, you will dive right into the sights, sounds, and energy of Makola Market, one of Accra’s most colorful and lively hubs. After soaking in the market experience, head to the hotel for check-in and a chance to refresh.
Later in the afternoon, enjoy a special meeting with a local tailor and seamstress to begin the process of creating custom garments.
The day wraps up on a celebratory note with a dinner at Chez Clarisse (pescatarian, vegetarian, and vegan-friendly), where great food, warm conversation, and a joyful atmosphere set the tone for the journey ahead.

You may choose to attend Family Day with the African American Association of Ghana (AAAG), held monthly at the AAAG Pavilion on the grounds of the W.E.B. Du Bois Center (starts at noon). This lively gathering brings members and visitors together for food, games, music, and fellowship—and offers a great opportunity to connect with diasporans living in Ghana.
Or, take the day to rest at the hotel—enjoy the pool, relax, and recharge at your own pace.
In the evening, everyone comes together for a buffet dinner (pescatarian, vegetarian, vegan-friendly) at Mango’s (included) to wrap up a laid-back Sunday.

Wrap up your visit to the Central Region!
Check out and head deeper into the Central Region for an unforgettable visit to Kakum National Park, home to the famous canopy walkway suspended high above the rainforest. After your adventure, enjoy lunch at Kakum (included) before returning to Accra.
Once back in the city, grab dinner and then head out for a fun, open-to-all nightlife option—dancing at Afrikiko, where live music and high-energy vibes make for the perfect welcome back to Accra.

Kumasi travelers depart on an early flight and dive into culture and tradition—visit Bonwire, home of Kente weaving; Ntonso, known for Adinkra symbols; the sacred grounds of Okomfo Anokye; and the historic Manhyia Palace.
Return to Accra in the evening and gather for dinner (self-pay) to wind down the day.

Visit the Koforidua Cultural Center, then take part in an outdoor cooking class where lunch is included and flavors tell stories. Tour the Nyame Bekyere Community Center and The Breeden, gaining insight into community-building and vision in action.
The day culminates in a traditional Naming Ceremony, a deeply meaningful moment of connection and belonging.
After Nyame Bekyere, head towards Volta Region for a night a KASI.

Wake up and feel the Volta air!
Start your day with morning activities at KASI, soaking in the sustainable practices and peaceful surroundings.
In the early afternoon, return to Accra and check in to your hotel. Guests will receive their clothing after final fittings and alterations.
Then cap the evening with an optional dinner at Skybar 25 (self-pay), taking in city views and celebratory vibes.
